Welcome Welcome to the internet home of Community Radio WCUW 91.3FM. We are a non-commercial, listener supported radio station serving Worcester County and offering over 80 programs delivered by a volunteer staff of approximately 100 programmers.We broadcast a unique mix of musical genres, ethnic and cultural programs and news and information reflecting the interests of our diverse listening audience. Our program schedule includes folk, rock, jazz, blues, do-wop, hip-hop, classical and more. Our ethnic programming provides cultural connections for our Irish, Scottish, French, Polish, Spanish, African, Albanian, Vietnamese, Haitian, Indian, Jewish, Scandinavian and other local communities. No where else will you find such a rich mix. We are radio of the people, by the people and for the people. We are about freedom of the airwaves and diversity of programming. "Under the Influence" with musician guest hosts Beginning Tuesday, Sept 16, 2008 "Under the Influence" will make its debut in the 8:00-10:00pm slot. Half of the BOD members will serve a two year term and half a one year term to enable the implementation of staggered two year terms. The BOD members elected include: Returning BOD Members- Royce Anderson, Charles Ball, Deb Barron, Lee Morin, Hank Stolz and Barry Sullivan New BOD Members- Larry Haley, Mary Keefe, Agnes Rivera, Mohan Somasundaran, and Aaron White Subsequently, at the Nov. 12, 2008 BOD meeting the Executive Team was elected from within the BOD members. Barry Sullivan will continue to serve as President, Deb Barron as Vice President, Aaron White as Treasurer and Lee Morin as Clerk/Secretary. WCUW Members would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to: Barbara Haller, Gray and Paula Harrison, and Jabian Gutierrez for officiating the voting process and tallying the vote results.
